Why Care Groups?
Relationships that are centered around the Gospel are the backbone of our life together, and care groups provide a setting for these relationships to flourish. Each care group meets regularly at different times and in different places – for fellowship, personal ministry, worship and the study and application of God’s Word. The purpose is to worship God together, to share our struggles, to be real with one another, and to build friendships. Because these are all critical lifestyle patterns for a healthy Christian, every member of SGCC is ordinarily expected to be an active participant in a care group, and prospective members and guests are encouraged to attend as well.
If you would like to visit one of these groups, feel free to call the church office to get the contact information for the most accurate meeting time and location of the group that interests you.
For Fall 2025, with the exception of the IGNITE! group (which is still meeting), we are pausing our care groups and meeting together at the church building for fellowship, teaching, and corporate prayer on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month. Guests are welcome.
